Captain's Log ยท A Star to Steer By

Captain Twilight

Bedtime stories for careful feet. Come aboard the Celestial Voyager, dear friends, and we will sail the slow way home: tales that teach small hearts to hear the quiet song beneath the noise, then choose the course toward harbor.

Be still a moment. The light always steadies for the ones who wait.

The Two Songs of the Sea

One for haste, one for careful feet

I am Captain Twilight, and I keep the lantern aboard the Celestial Voyager. Every story I tell is a way of listening: the sea sings two songs, and a wise heart learns to tell them apart.

The Loud Song

The sea sings one song for hurry, bright and quick and easy to chase. It is a beautiful song. It is also the one that runs you onto the rocks.

The Quiet Song

The other song is quieter. You only hear it when you stop. It does not tell you to go faster, dear friends. It tells you which way is home.

The Pocket-Sized Dawn

When an early appointment stirs the morning grumpies, the Celestial Voyager helps two sleepy children see the tides of time.

Keep the Lantern Lit

Keep the lantern by your bed

When a new story leaves the harbor, the lantern is easy to follow. Add the ship's log to your reader, dear friends, and each new night sail will find you on its own. No noise, only the heading.
